Hawthorn's Charter Application is Approved

On Tuesday, June 17, the Missouri State Board of Education unanimously approved Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls’ application to operate as a charter public school.  Washington University, Hawthorn’s institutional charter sponsor, will hold the charter which runs for five years beginning in the fall of 2015.  Hawthorn is grateful to the Young Women’s Leadership Network, the Missouri Charter Public Schools Association, and Mayor Francis Slay for their support of the charter application.
