North St. Louis Charter School Is A First For Missouri

"ST. LOUIS (KMOX) – Students at the Hawthorn Leadership School
on North Kingshighway were only in their third day of class Wednesday, but they were already making history.
They’re attending the first all-girls public STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) school in the entire state of Missouri.
Mayor Francis Slay spoke to the student body Wednesday morning to recognize that achievement.
