Digital Safety at Hawthorn
Technology and digital literacy are increasingly an element of our everyday lives both in and outside of school. All students need digital citizenship skills to participate fully in their communities, to make smart choices online and in life, and to become leaders in their communities and professions. As a STEM school, the need to develop responsible digital citizens is of utmost importance. To prepare our students to be responsible digital citizens, Hawthorn will teach digital citizenship in a variety of ways, including through dedicated digital citizenship lessons at least once per quarter.
