Hawthorn Leadership School for Girls

Field Trips

Hawthorn students enjoy a variety of excursions throughout the year. In most cases, these trips correlate to the classroom. For example, students learning about heat islands spent an afternoon at the Botanical Gardens and a unit on Civil Rights took us to the Missouri History Museum. We are also able to participate in a variety of activities such as World Food Day, Wyman High Ropes Course, Six Flags, an African drumming concert at the Sheldon and an afternoon at Skate King, that enrich the Hawthorn Community.

Schedule a VisitIs Hawthorn Right for You?

We encourage community friends, prospective students and families to visit us! Throughout the year, our students lead tours twice a month during the school day which is a great way to see school in action. During student recruitment season, prospective families can attend our Saturday Open Houses. We also offer Family Tours the first Tuesday of every month during the spring.
